My name is Eliana Taveras, and I am a Dominican filmmaker who grew up in the United States, where my passion for storytelling and cinema began at an early age. From a young age, I was fascinated by the way films could capture emotions, communicate ideas, and bring unique perspectives to life. Growing up between my Dominican roots and American culture has shaped the way I see the world, inspiring my appreciation for diverse stories and meaningful representation on screen. As a Film student at the University of Central Florida, I continue to develop my skills in film production, assistant directing, and visual storytelling. Through Taveras Collective, my goal is to bring creative visions to life, collaborate with passionate artists, and create films that connect with audiences through authentic storytelling. I believe every story has the power to leave an impact, and I strive to contribute to that impact one frame at a time.
